This policy explains how Padel Dorado (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal data when you visit padeldorado.co.uk, buy from our shop, contact us, or sign up for updates.

Padel Dorado are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number and order details. Card payments are handled by your chosen payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.

When you contact us: your name, email address, the reason you’re getting in touch, your message, and any other details you choose to give (such as an order number, phone number or company name).

When you sign up for updates: your email address, and your consent to receive emails.

When you use the website: technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and how you arrived at the site. Some of this is collected using cookies (see below).

When you create an account: your name, email address, password (stored securely and encrypted) and order history.

Who we share it with

We only share your data with companies that help us run Padel Dorado, and only as much as they need:

  • Payment providers: to take payment.
  • Delivery companies: to send your order.
  • Website hosting: which stores the website and its data.
  • Email newsletter service: if you sign up for updates.
  • Expo ticketing: tickets for the Padel Dorado Expo are sold through Eventbrite, which has its own privacy policy.

We may also share data if the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

  • Orders: 6 years after the end of the financial year, as required for tax purposes.
  • Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact with you.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Accounts: until you ask us to delete your account, or after [3] years of inactivity.

Cookies

We use cookies that the website needs to work, such as keeping items in your basket and keeping you logged in.
